Overview
Ms. Kwon is an attorney focusing on patent litigation, preparation and prosecution in various industries including, but not limited to, optics, display technology, nanotechnology, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering.

Prior Legal Experience
Before joining H.C. Park & Associates, Ms. Kwon researched the America Invents Act focusing on the first-to-file change as a research fellow at Boston College Law School. While in law school, as a student attorney at the Boston College Legal Assistance Bureau, Ms. Kwon drafted memorandums and briefs for all stages of civil litigation on child support and child social security disability benefit cases.

Prior to entering the legal profession, Ms. Kwon worked as a research scientist at an optics lab at Seoul National University. She participated in various projects in collaboration with companies including development of interferometry devices, cell phone projector, and confocal microscopy. She also engaged in extensive EU and US patent searches for related projects.
