OVERVIEW

Mr. Jang is a patent attorney licensed in South Korea, whose practice focuses on preparation and prosecution of patent applications and IP transactions in the technological field of electrical engineering. His practice areas cover a wide range of medical devices such as ultrasound, MRI and CT; electronic materials including CNT and graphene; and business model.

Before joining H.C. Park & Associates, International, Mr. Jang worked at the IP Center, Samsung Electronics, for four and a half years. As an in-house patent attorney of IP Strategy team, he was involved in various IP transactions. During law school, Mr. Jang worked for the Office for Technology Commercialization of University of Minnesota where he provided patent analyses and marketability opinions over University inventions in the field of electrical engineering technology.
